Choose an attachment for the actual load
A shelf that will hold books needs a different plan from a light picture frame. Provide the expected loaded weight and product information, not only the empty shelf dimensions. The available framing or masonry and the supplied brackets determine the safe mounting approach. Adhesive alone is not a substitute for a rated fastener on heavy items.
Plan placement before drilling
Pairs of mirrors, gallery walls and shelves over a desk benefit from measured spacing. Tell us what the items should align with and whether their height is flexible. A safe anchor location may change the first proposed position, so we discuss layout and wall structure together.
Different walls need different care
Stud-backed drywall, masonry, tile and plaster are not interchangeable. Drilling tile can cause breakage and wall cavities may conceal plumbing or wiring. Photos of the surface and the back of each item help us decide whether the job is a practical installation before scheduling it.
When a specialist may be needed
Unknown wall construction, hidden utilities, fragile finishes, very heavy loads and unsafe access may require different hardware or a specialist. Electrical work and concealed wiring are outside this scope.

Can you use the hardware included with my shelf?
If it is compatible with the wall and rated for the intended load; otherwise a different attachment may be needed.
Can you mount a heavy mirror on tile?
It depends on weight, tile condition, backing and anchoring path. Share photos for assessment.
